That is the part that scared me but many moons ago I really wanted to drive otr. However, something about that physical they make you take and I could not pass. Still, I got away with doing some but still remember that 5 day run and it put doubts in me whether I'd continue to like it or not. Fortunately, I never got the chance. I still am amazed that I got away with driving like I did.

Loving this cooler weather but it still needs to cool down more for hunting next week.

Was blessed when our son pulled in here last night. Really nice to see him as he lives a long way off.

In PA. Around 650 miles from us. We have another son who lives around 700 miles in the other direction. Needless to say, we don't get to visit often.

It sounded like it came down in my back yard, so it must be close. Dog lost his mind over it.

I heard a different tree in the woods randomly come down with no wind about a week ago. That one sounded like it was a few hundred yards away though.

I am gonna go for a walk and see if I can find it.

So I went out and looked around. It's kinda tough as the woods are dense. All I could find were a few oak limbs that had recently come down, at the base of a tree that had another limb that had come down a little less recent. This is likely what I heard a week ago. I couldn't find what came down last night though. Guess I'll have to wait until the leaves drop.

Saw our first moose of this trip in NH today. Just off the side of the highway East of Gorham. It was a cow, but still.

That was the first moose my wife has ever seen in the wild.

Those guys are big, and very neat. They really fish, for minnows.

I wonder if dogs in the truck, instead of running around make wildlife viewing easier:sherlock:;)
