Good morning everyone! I'm carrying on with my projects until it gets too hot, then I'll go shopping! Have a fun day!

Seems Chazsbetterhalf has been keeping everyone updated on the happenings here.

Some final closing up still to do on the roof, friend will stop by Tuesday after work to finish things up, but we are super happy to have the roof done this year.


Chvymn99 is correct, she forgot all about the ATV.
Picked up an '09 Kingquad 500 on Friday.
It needs some TLC, but it was $2800 with a full set of new tires. Can't complain much.

We found looking monkey tree too. Very rare find. She was wondering how to get this wood home...
Reflecting on the years together.
This is the Korean ship that overturned a couple weeks ago. It had dropped of some cars in Brunswick and was headed to Baltimore with 400/500 more cars. They finally got all the crew out. 4 members were trapped inside for a couple days with temps close to 140°. Had to cut holes in the side to reach them. St Simons Island and lighthouse in the background

Good morning everyone! 90°and humid today, but a chance of some rain tonight, then cooler tomorrow. I will finish the pool today, once I catch the mouse in it! The cat must have chased it in, maybe I'll put her down there and see if she'll catch it.
I have two oak logs left to cut and split, I'm looking forward to the end of that project as well. All done I think I'll get two cords or so from it. Then I'm taking a break! Except for wood from Dave's in Winchester. That will be my boredom cure for this winter. Lots of cutting to do on those skinny logs, then handsplit them in half.
I think I'll put some fall fertilizer in the lawn today, I haven't done that yet because it's been so dry.
Can't keep me in the house, that's for sure!
