Any bulk options available by you? Thinking of how to avoid having to pick up bags, but transferring via vacuum. Or even just a smaller amount instead of 40lbs at a time.

    NO I DID NOT...
Certainly not because the Dr's were not itching to cut on me though.....

I had just quit a job I had had for over 20 years and opened my own business (Small for hire Trucking company...dump truck/trailer stuff) and being tied up for a recovery that would have shot my first summer season in the butt was not financially possible...

I decided to just work through it.

Sitting was the best medicine for me as far as the type of disc rupture I had, so driving truck was a blessing.

After a few months my back healed up and the pain became more intermittent and less obnoxious.

Exercises and being careful not to try and lift heavy stuff was a plus too.

That was back in Summer 1991 (June)

I still get issues off and on, but they are manageable and short lived.

I have/had friends who had surgeries that created more misery than they fixed.... so I am rather cautious about cutting on the back.....

Toasty in the shack this morning...
Ran the Weeeee stove though the night.

Weather is not at all nasty...
More showers possible today...then a wet Sunday coming up...

Made a couple little adjustments to the new control panel yesterday to tweak the auger feed time a tiny bit.

Also fooled with the Combi fan speed adjustment (Room fan has a shunt tube that feeds some air into the fire pot to aid combustion) I increased the fan speed a touch and this is keeping the fire tray cleaner and with less clinker build up.

Just 2 volts on the meter was all it needed.

Nice having a knob on the panel to be able to tweak it.
The NON red shaded area on the meter face is the SWEET SPOT and the stove operates within that range.
The factory set up was also very close to what I finally ended up with.

The little black knob on the left side of the panel is the speed controller for the COMBI FAN.. The red knob is the friction lock to secure the setting so it does not get bumped unintentionally....

Having the meter is a real plus....

The auger feed ON TIME can be adjusted inside the box with an adjustment on the timer unit.

The large black knob is the heat settings from 1 to 5 and P for prime (Constant on to fill an empty auger)

Pretty much plug and play now.
Flip on the main switch.....lite the fire... flip on the burn switch and walk away.

A couple minutes from start to ready to go...

I've always said I would never have back surgery, but I hurt so bad right now that I'm willing to listen to what they have to say. I'm not having this done through the VA. There is a medical group in Scarborough that specializes is spines. I've been referred there.

Dave and Mark will have to handle it. We've been very busy so far this season.
