The kids live in a quiet neighborhood in town... Not a great idea to be popping shots off
The originally thought the critter tearing things up was a coon.....

Wrong kind of stripes on the tail

The boss will be going on her semi-annual quilt retreat tomorrow. It will be quiet phone wise (I hope).

Bear has the makings for a serious seafood chowda. Bear will try for a no stomach ache chowda, However I am a Bear. Bear sometimes gets carried away on the milk products.

    FALL IS HERE....

A few drier days later in the week, but fall is here.

Still fooling with the big Genny.... trying to find a 6 foot long hose to run from the high pressure regulator to the fuel control on the Gen set.

So far all I get is "WE can order one" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. TOUCHY FEELY on this one.....

    Yesterday was W..E..T blustery too.
Ran the wee stove through the night.

Normally with the factory controller on the stove the fire pot would be pretty well filled with clinker by morning and the fire would be burning at the top edge of the tray....

With the new controller the fire was burning well and the clinker level was way down in the tray.

I did flip the fuel fed off and clear the tray with the little tool (Putty knife) and the turn the feed back on.

I CAN'T remember if we ran the stove overnight back in May when I got the new control all set up, but I am delighted at the performance on an overnight run....

I will have to go back into the old posts and see what happened.

At any rate....the wind howled and the rain poured last night..... woke me up a couple times too...

    House a lovely 71 F this morning at 5 am ...

I went back and read all the past posts on the Weee stoves new control operation...

On June 28th we ran an overnighter.... but that was about it.

Unless the weather gets nasty with some early cold we will likely not run the large stove until November some time.

The wee stove can gitterdone down into the upper 40's F outside (48 F maybe)

We area ready for the season to get under way in ernest now....

It was yummy. Bear has been doing "chowdas" for a long while and my secret ingredient is a small amount of sour cream.
