Nice. We have relatives on my mom's side around Red Bay area and we have friends that live in Rainsville and Mentone.

Maybe this coming week... Its supposed to turn cold with rain and snow showers...

We'll see I guess, Going to be 90 degrees today through Sunday. That's the crazy weather we get here though snow in the morning and sunny and warm that same afternoon.

I figured you'd be getting some snow flakes soon. I've seen several areas in the mountains reporting snow. It's time, after all, it is September.

No fires inside, outside had at least a handful. This summer was much cooler in lieu of rain and drops from 80 to 60’s. The wet stuff is coming back for sure. Trying to square away stuff for the burning season.

Still camping season here, but id guess well have a fire or two pretty soon. Probably by the end of the month.

Of course, you gotta have a fire at the campsite:thumbs:

After my first experience climbing on the metal roof , I worked out a method to remove the pipe between the stove and ceiling and clean the pipe from inside the house.

Not yet but after looking at the forecast, we'll start on the 23 of September. We usually start on Sept. 15.

The faster I get rid of the pine, the better.

55° outside, 62° inside. Why not? I love how the stove smells on the first fire of the season.
Also getting to play with my new temp gun. The stove top unit I've had for years seems to be right on. 20190916_001726.jpg 20190916_002004.jpg
