I’ve driven by that church. I said to my wife that I think it’s odd that they left the wood in rounds like that. I’m sure she was rolling her eyes a little bit.
Um unh, not me. Never got out of the truck. I felt a powerful set of eyes on me. No one trusts a hoarder hahaha

A little bit. Had seen this add weeks ago. Never acted on it. Pretty far from home. But I was over there in that area today so decided to drive by. No trailer in tow. Score is not worth going back for. Big pieces left but not enough to go back. Took a nice backwoods drive through some United Illuminating property. There’s actually some wood in that road, mostly rounds of white Oak. Been there a little while. Roads so narrow and curvy I’d have to be pretty desperate to play in there with a trailer. Plus who knows how UI likes people grabbing wood off their roads? A lot more dead stuff on its way down eventually tho. If I lived near there it would be on my radar.
In order to protect his grow from prying eyes, a local fenced his property which borders on the state highway. Caltrans took umbrage and made him take the fence down. Now he stacks his rounds on end along the property line. It's very risky though, with winter coming firewood is as likely to be stolen as pot.
