Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. It's back to my regular job today, got to work this weekend. Should be hot and dry, maybe the lights and fans still work at the wood pile...I'm having withdrawals...

Good morning everyone! I'll move some firewood this morning, but this afternoon I'm picking my grandson up from his new after-school program at the elementary school. I'm eager to hear about his week... I hope I don't hear "not good"! I'm betting the novelty factor is still carrying him along.
We're supposed to get a tiny bit of wind and rain out of Dorian. The most dramatic effect will be big waves. We might have to swing by the beach on Sunday morning for a look.

Date with youngest granddaughter today after school and bus route. She wants to go fishing, so back to our pond we will go! Bet she will want to play with the new pups we got last Friday before we go in for the night. Be safe all, cutting firewood this weekend as long as it doesn't rain. Be safe!

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Another day of work for me. Nice 61° morning, but will probably get hot this afternoon. Maybe I can get a little wood therapy when I get off. Enjoy the day that the Lord has given us. Look around for opportunities to serve others.

Squeaking in before it's afternoon! The rain from the remnants of Dorian is all gone, and the sun is out. Husband is keeping me busy, hopping from one task to another. Now it's time for a dump run.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SUNDAY. Another day of work for me, then off tomorrow. Never made it to the wood pile yesterday...grrrrr...but moved our old stove to our daughter's house, changed cords, and took her old stove to my cousin's storage place, where they are checked and used on our summer mission trip, or somebody in need. Our son will be getting his mobile home moved next week, so I'm sure to be tied up with that. I need a little prayer for patience, will work the night shift on Tuesday-Thur as well....fun, fun....
I have to remind myself, GOD is in CONTROL...
Let's worship the ONE GOD, who loves us and cares for us, even when we mess up. HIS MERCY and FORGIVENESS is new each day.

 

Wow T.Jeff, you will come out a different man after the week ahead of you! I hope everything goes as planned with no bad surprises. Don't take any risks with your body, if you can come out in one piece, everything will be fine.

 

Good morning everyone! Today should be a mellower day than yesterday. I cut enough oak yesterday to make a decent amount of splits, so I'll do that later on. I'm draining the pool, in preparation for painting it. It's an unpredictable job, because of rain, which leaves a puddle in the deep end. Also a fair amount of prep. So, I've decided to do it myself rather than hire it out, so it gets done the way I want it done.
I also had the idea of washing the dining room rug, which has seen it's share of mouse guts, in the shallow end of the pool, once the water level has dropped to a couple inches or so. It's just synthetic, so if it doesn't work out I'll chuck it and buy another.
Someday soon I'll go back out to Winchester as a reward!

Good morning everyone! Plans took a left turn yesterday, my husband was bored because he couldn't do things he wanted to do, with one good eye and one bad eye.
So, we hopped in the car and drove out to Winchester to pick up more wood. Had lunch out there too.
So today I'll try and do the things I was going to do yesterday.

Midwinter, when my wife first got her foot crushed and was homebound, I would tell her to get in the truck, so I can blow the stink off of you. So when we go somewhere that is the catch all phrase! Saturday was busy but Sunday, rainy and good excuse to stay in and take a long nap! Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a wonderful week.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. I'm planning on it, got my daughter to the hospital this morning for her surgery, shouldn't take to long, and then I'm planning to spend some time with my hunny, it's a special day. Only have one day off, so we will celebrate later.
