Hoarding Firewood

I wondered how you built that. The center splits dry even though they are surrounded? Our climate is too wet for something like that to work unless you top covered it with a tarp. then it would rain inside from condensation.

Well I guess it remains to be seen whether the insides will stay dry. The angled splits on top do seen to help it shed water towards the outside where it quickly dries when the sun comes back out. Hopefully the radial arrangement of the splits at least allows it to get some air flow.

Did my first recently. Have some refinement to do on my second, which is just starting. I am saving some of your pictures as reference. Holds a lot of wood for a pretty small area.
