Ok, Here are your choices for the next live action exploding leaner (hopefully). I’m off Friday through Monday. I can do any day. I’m going to use 3 lbs next time. No, I’m not gonna do a 5 gallon bucket, lol. My windows will explode. I was thinking Saturday high noon. No in-laws this time so will be on time. What say u? Whooooooooood!

Bring it! Check out the last few posts in the first thread too. We put a bunch of cigar tubes in a tree & did it that way too. Drilled 1" holes in the trunk & loaded er up, that was kinda cool.

Are you detonating the leaner or the supporting tree?

I thought you were after the leaner, but it seemed like the support tree was targeted.

Whichever is the target, please be safe
    :)

There's enough "things went wrong" videos out there already.

    I like this approach. ^^^^^

Keep the explosive forces where you need them, not bouncing off of bark.

Remember, I'm not the only thing in nature that takes the path of least resistance.

I agree that you need to cut a cubby or drill holes to get it inside the tree. Not matter what you try, please be careful.

Found 5 lbs of the real tannerite brand. Whooooooood! This baby is coming down. Going to literally shoot for Sunday 1pm.

Also gonna drill 1 inch holes hoping it doesn’t fall on my head.

Dover weather for Sunday at 1PM is 49F, 100% chance of rain and 14MPH winds. I’m hoping to get 2 cords of splits moved today before the yard is mud again. Bring on the hard freeze!

Still on today. No rain and wind will stop a zombie.

I’m gonna have to postpone. My daughter decided to bring the Grandbaby over today. I don’t feel right setting off explosives. Sorry guys.

At this point that tree has grown way too big to even cut down. Best to just call in the loggers...
