Ok, Here are your choices for the next live action exploding leaner (hopefully). I’m off Friday through Monday. I can do any day. I’m going to use 3 lbs next time. Bring it! Check out the last few posts in the first thread too. We put a bunch of cigar tubes in a tree & did it that way too. Drilled 1" holes in the trunk & loaded er up, that was kinda cool.
Are you detonating the leaner or the supporting tree? I thought you were after the leaner, but it seemed like the support tree was targeted. Whichever is the target, please be safe There's enough "things went wrong" videos out there already.
I like this approach. ^^^^^ Keep the explosive forces where you need them, not bouncing off of bark. Remember, I'm not the only thing in nature that takes the path of least resistance.
I agree that you need to cut a cubby or drill holes to get it inside the tree. Not matter what you try, please be careful.
