Loaded up my deck the other day and I decided since it's pretty temperate still I would burn all the random size hunks and chunks of stuff that aren't really reliable for long-term heat. The unfortunate side of the strategy is that my woodpile is the ugliest woodpile I have ever seen and I get to look at it for the next few weeks .
A great way to go- this way you get rid of all that stuff in a short time. The uglies I have are all mixed in with the 'real' splits so I have to deal with them constantly and there are always more lurking a little further down in the wood pile. Brian
Yuck! Ugliest, most unattractive ever! Hurts my eyes! Where are they? All I see is great BTU'S! When do you want me to come by and pick them up so you don't have to look at them?
The real pile is coming along nicely have about a face or two to go and she's done. This picture is the 2018 to 2019 end the 2017 end is totally ready
Geez Garry, cover that pile up! What are the neighbors going to say? Looks like a nice warm home to me!
It has been a very dry couple of months up here and I left it uncovered for the summer but will put tarps on in the next week or two
