Post your pics of sawdust goin airborne, splits coming off the splitter, your dog heading up the wood pile, or wife/kids/friends helping you prepare for winter. My very dear son, on an oak job...pieces too big to move, so split a couple cords by hand on site. He is a machine with that maul.
Hard for me to get action shots as I’m usually by myself. I’ll see if I can get the seat wifey to take one
I always cut by my self so I don't have any action shots And I have no selfy stick... If I did I would burn that too
Work alone often so no action shots. Pic of me bucking a big Norway maple at a friends from last year. Where in CT are you located Sirchopsalot ? Im in North Haven.
Hoarding is such a lonely existence Everyone’s usually by themselves as are I. Did make a video once.
There I am with sawdust flying, using the Echo CS-590. Ford-150 in the backdrop gleaming in the sun. I am an urban firewood hoarder. I get almost all of my wood in Indiana by scrounging from friends, FB marketplace, or just asking people when I see downed trees. I've got about 4 1/2 cords in the wood shed ready to go this year. Some white oak, red oak, some various pine, a little cherry, and a lotta silver maple. It all burns. What I don't burn in the wood stove, I have started using my new smoker, also pictured below!
Brads ability’s have no bounds when it comes to Black Locust. Hoping fences, wading rivers, climbing cliffs, you name it he’s probably done it!!!
