Was told to post my work here. I do wood burning here and there. These are some of my burns I have done. Haven’t really been into selling anything as of yet. Pretty much just making them for family and friends right now. Hope y’all enjoy!
Thank you. The portrait of the gentleman was my third piece. I started in April 2019. I’m progressively picking it up!
Have had a few people ask about it elsewhere. That one was a Father’s Day gift to my dad. I will be making others similar to it again though. It was a fun burn!
Thank you! Was a hobby I didn’t think I would be any good at and now I have 4 different burning pens. Lol
I have some ideas for a large round of black oak I’m looking to do in the near future. I will router out a section in the middle about an 1 1/2” deep and “entomb” a very old steam valve handle and a pair of old pipe wrenches in clear epoxy. This will be a mobile table top on casters. And underneath the handle and wrenches I was thinking of burning in the words NYC STEAM. I might needs some tips on how to burn that in.
Outstanding work Alicia The bear, wolf, and “heaven” pieces are especially fantastic. Your talent is representative of so many showcased FHC members’ skills. Bravo!
Welcome aboard Alicia Some beautiful artwork there. You've definitely got a talent for woodburning. All my woodburning work looks the same.. ashes
Wow! Seriously impressive! Love the canoe & the bear. The older gentleman too. Mind showcasing the tools?
I like the portraits the best. You have a real talent there! Here is a wood burning idea I found on online...
Beautiful work, Alicia ... I have an idea for you. I wood, pun intended, like the University of GA logo with the Dawg on it kinda like the Chicago Brar you did for my hunny.
Thank you! The wolf is still in progress. I just started this in April. The gentleman portrait was my third piece and is my grandfather. It was a thing for his celebration of life after services. Still getting my practice in.
Thank you! It has taken a bit. I am still learning it and practicing my technique. I will eventually do custom orders, but for now I just show my parents and family my work.
