Thinking about building a wood shed this summer. Anybody have any good ideas or pics? Found this one online, not sure it's big enough, though.

Yeah, it is my dream shed. I love the different bays for
separating the wood by types. Very organized. A little out of my range, cost wise, though. But if I ever become a wealthy wood baron, this is the one I want!

Sure is a good looking shed, kinda glad I don't have one like that, I'd have no rest til it was full, then it looks so nice stacked in there I'd hate to take any out of it:picard:

I'd say that's too nice for firewood, and should house motorized toys instead.

Just scale it to the size you want or need. Looking build a 6 cord shed this summer.
    Great ideas with that photo.

I'm thinking of a woodshed too but my concern is handling the wood one more time to store it in the shed. Due to my property size most everything is done by wheelborrow or by hand. My schedule won't be able to do it.

the different bays are a nice touch. my shed is 25' wide with an 8' door centered on one side,,2 more sliding doors would be great on that side.

If I had a shed like that, I would have to replace each piece of wood as it was removed. Gotta keep all the stacks perfect and full. Stack maintenance would be very important.

I would prefer to handle it twice or three or four times. Sick and tired of tarps and ice hitting me in the face.:mad:Would like to have a 6 cord shed with at least 12 cord in stacks drying. That is my 3 year plan. It is amazing to me how much i can get done in one hour at night if i put my mind to it.:)

PHOTO_20140408_165327.jpg PHOTO_20140727_185530.jpg here's mine. Got a total of about 60 bucks into it. 8x20 roughly. Holds 6 or so cords depending on how high I stack it.
