While I was out there I grabbed a couple more pictures. In the picture below, those trees behind the barn were green. It's hard to tell in the picture but one tree is basically bare now. Its the one behind the right side of the overhead door. Then there is another maple to the right that is still mostly green. Mother Nature makes us wonder sometimes.
You have some nice colors this year. Due to the drought most of the trees' leaves are quite muted this year here. Not very cheerful-looking. Although there are certainly some exceptions. We didn't have a lot of bug damage so the leaves are whole and healthy looking otherwise. So there's that.
