Ski resort area if it’s the one I am thinking of it’s in the Girdwood area 30-45 minutes south of Anchorage.

Gridwood is a nice area, 2 years ago we took the Alaska railroad train from Anchorage to Seward we were in the glass viewing car coming through Girdwood, the rail is at the base of the mountains up against the Cook Inlet. I don’t remember how many Dall sheep we saw less than 200 feet from the train. Just sunning themselves on the rock ledge. Was breathtaking and the inspiration for getting into sheep hunting.
