What should I cook tonight?

    Kids are getting fed dinner and the grandparents so just a quiet dinner with the wife. Need some ideas.

    We are doing pork chops, but you probably want to do something more special than that. Stuff pork chops wrapped in bacon?

    I'm thinking something cooked on the grill or on the pit. Something relatively quick and easy.

    You're reading my mind Chvymn! I've been mulling the idea of actually buying a "burger stuffer". Not really a necessary item and probably just another little kitchen gizmo that I won't end up using very much, but it's tempting.

    Last year, I made some fresh Jalapano and Pepper Jack stuffed burgers.....mmmmmmm

    Last year I made some jalapeƱos stuffed with burger, so you could go that way too. Got the idea from nwwalker.

    I almost always grilled a jalapeno to go on my burger. We just had burgers last week, but you can never have too many.

    Atomic buffalo turds. Jalapenos sliced in half then stuffed with just about anything. For the filling, I usually just throw cream cheese, grated cheddar, and a bunch of spices into the food processor and spin it until its mixed up. Spoon that into the jalapeno halves, then wrap with some bacon and throw it on the smoker until the bacon is done...usually about 3 hours.

    Yep. Easy, fast (relatively) and delicious. In the unlikely event that I have some leftovers, I've chopped 'em up and added them to some sour cream for a potato topping that's pretty amazing.

    One of my favs is tenderloin (deer or beef) stuffed with roasted garlic, sundried toms, and basil.

    Slice tenderloin length wise but not all the way thru, stuff, then tie up with butcher twine. Grill hot and fast to your preferred doneness. Slice off what you want. Also good with a balsamic reduction drizzle.

    I'm fresh out of deer tenderloin and I'm not paying $12/lb for beef. Good idea though.

    Deer season can't get here quick enough.
