I've never seen anyone lean a saw out this much and keep on revving it. I wonder why it shut it off at the end:rofl:  It is sad that the people in the comments section on YT think he knows what he is doing.

I'm still trying to figure out what's happening. Was he testing to destruction? Trying to turn 15,000 rpm in the cut?

If I charged $1000 for a port job I'd be able to fry a 346 at will, too.

Firewood Bandit , not that you are not correct, but having (4) daughters Katie and I subjected to AnimalJam...not just AnimalJam which is bad enough, but THIS girl playing AnimalJam. Skip ahead to about 3 minutes and you will see why Bepper is like nails on the chalkboard to Katie and I. The girls even watch the same episodes over and over!!

There is actually a 20 year old boy who plays too, and he is just as bad. He lives in the basement of his mother's home and picks on kids that cannot play as well as him. Well you are a 20 year old loser playing a game my 4 year old plays. No wonder she is not great at it...SHE IS FOUR! If I could reach through the computer screen and throttle that bully I would.

He admits at the end of the video that this was done for research and development. I guess some on fhc dont like him, no matter what you think of his saw builds jack is a very highly skilled timber faller the proof for that is in his hotsaws 101 vids.

You can tell the guy does not know what he is doing. If he knew what he was doing he would not have tuned the saw the lean. If he would not have had it that lean it would still be running. This is not the first time I have seen he have a saw lean. Adjusting the carb is something very basic that you learn to do when you first start working on saws. He seems a bit shady. He never says what he has done to anything. It is always, "we are testing this." He did that in his 661 video. Instead of saying he had a 660 flywheel, coil and carb (probably WJ69) on it, he was testing a new coil and carb. His 346 in the video had a secret larger carb on it too, probably a carb setup from a 357 like I have on my 350.

It looks like it gets around a second slower when he leans it out and it turns "14900".

He proved you can toast a piston in a screaming lean saw...

    A real knowledge bomb ...

And to think you guys make fun of me for accidentally mashing a few chainsaws with skidders, bulldozers and excavators!

On a side note, I would hate to see this guy tune a snowmobile!!

I would never question his ability as a timber faller, his business ethics have been a valid concern for some people and in my own humble opinion he's taking advantage of the uninformed.

I still wanna know what he proved/accomplished with this video

It takes about 2 minutes to run your piston and cylinder if your saw is way lean.
