My Dad passed last night, he was 90 lived a full and productive life. He was a WWII vet, retired from Grumman Aerospace for 25 years. He seen a lot of changes in the world most of which he did not like lately. RIP Pops, you will be missed.
Sorry to hear this news ironpony He's at peace now, and you have all our prayers and thoughts during this time of grief.
I know you will miss him. My own Dad left this world August of 2012, he also was a veteran of the Depression and the War. They learned a lot because they had to. They were truly the Greatest Generation.
So sorry for your loss. Sounds like he was loved and lived a long good life. Lost my dad 19 years ago, but I think of him frequently.
All my sympathy and best wishes. Men like your father build this country-I'm afraid we won't see their likes again.
Condolences Ironpony. I know you are proud of Pops and have ever right to be. You will always have the memories. Guess you are in line for a little trip now and I hope it turns out good for you and the family. But it is never easy to lose someone like this.
