    Hello

We drove past the oldest timber framed house in North America in Dedham MA going to a service call today. It was built in 1637 and still standing. Most homes built in that time frame did not survive because they were made from Wattle and Daub! Lol
    See video in link below.

It is now reserved as a museum with daily tours,

That is quite something for a house to survive that long at least in this part of the world.

Don’t think so, but if you’re hitting the exact button I (tried) to circle, not sure what’s happening.
All of your threads have the “attached” images, not the thumbnails.

FYI to members-FHC thumbnails don’t mean the traditional small pic.

    I've often wondered about that.
I've clicked the thumbnail option, but they always seemed no different than full image.

So I just click on full image.
    :emb:

I'll have to change my wicked ways.

    Test
I did not see that button after uploaded 1 image but I do see the Thumbnail button. So if you do not press Thumbnail it defaults to full image!
Maybe the moderators or admins can change the default to Thumbnail???
See screen shot. Also I had to edit & delete the attached image and resave it on my iPhone. Maybe a bug?
After the second image now I do.
I think that button may be fairly new because it was not always there!
So thanks for pointing that out. :)

It does have “thumbnail” next to “full image” and although the pic shows large when you click thumbnail, I’m guessing some of the data is stripped from that image.
Fear not Don- we’ll get this worked out. :handshake:

That's amazing. I was a tour guide out of high school for a historic society in Bucks Co, PA. Your house pre-dates the oldest one I went through by 130+ years!

My oldest sister purchased a home built in 1749 in aquasco md. ..had a fireplace in every room 10 ft ceilings, 2 barns 30 acres servant quarters hidden entrances to the kitchen, a rock stacked foundation, horsehair laden plaster and old iron pipes w registers for heat when the home was upgraded back in 1890somethin. but it had been added onto and the nubs put vinyl siding on in 89 making it non historical. She ended up selling it but it's really a beautiful home. She was in way over her head. She paid 780,000 in 07.. short sale sold it for 450000.

    Ouch is right.
