Is there any Veteran in this forum that is walking around "without" a Veterans ID card?
If so, Please let me help you get one! It doesn't matter how long you served as long as you were "Honorably discharged". Yes Medical and other forms of discharges fall under Honorable. As long as you were not discharged with a DD, BCD, OTH or you have a RE code of 4 you should be fine. If you have questions, I can get you an answer. :handshake:

    Dave. :)

Dave - my dad was in the Naval reserves. Not sure for how long, but it's been his, and our understanding, that he doesn't qualify for any kind of veterans benefits.

Would you know if anything has flanged and that he might qualify?

If you need more info, I can get it.

Actually this is fairly easy, first two questions; Where did he serve and when did he serve. Next couple is; was he ever "activated" to active during time of war? WWII, Korea, Vietnam? Any of those answers are "Yes" he is eligible. Here's a link to Mass, VA. Massachusetts - Locations

The best he or you can do from here is to ask, but get "everything" military related, DD-214, his SS# when you call or go! If he was in durning time of any conflict and was activated, he IS eligible. Call, can't hurt.
