Those look great Pete! I've only got two packs of "roast" meat in the freezer left. A month to go before gun season starts here and I can replenish my stock! Nice color on the brew too, looks like my "cup-of-tea".

Always seems that the freezer hides things. Hate to say how old I found some stuff. We recently did a total clean out when the door accidentally popped open and all the food thawed.
That plate looked a lot better than my salad!
About time for you to be filling the freezer with some new stuff.

I like to experiment with marinades on my venison. Venison is "ok-good" to me plain, but put some special marinades in it (same as with other meats) and you can turn it into something really special. My current favorite is the el-cheapo McCormick "Grill Mates" Montreal Steak marinade. Instead of a few hours, I leave it in there about 2 days (in the frig), and it transforms venison into something entirely different. Incredibly tasty and tender! Their "Mesquite" marinade is great also.
