Well, this is the first review of the season for me. Pellets have a nice sheen and fed well. I did see some pellets that were in the 1.5” range. Ash was mixed in color. Some of the ash was very light grey and some very dark (flecked), probably from the mix they use. I did develop an ash cake but it could have been from the two different burns I had until I finished the bag. Because of the density, some might need to bump the air up on their stoves. The fines were a bit coarse but there wasn’t much of it.

All in all I love these pellets and always have. If it weren’t for the ash cake, I’d have these at 4.5 stars. With that said I rate these a solid 4 stars.

    Highly Recommend!
