I received that too. online it looks like a ton is at $250, so with the $25 off, sale price is $225. Much better than Agway's pre-season price of $295 for NEWPs
My local TSC usually get Maine Wood Pellets in the "Hardwood" bag. MWP doesn't make pure hardwood, and they are a blend that is mostly hardwood. Besides that, sometimes they get other branded bags in like GS, but that is usually just a few and the majority of what they have offered in the past are MWPs in the white bag with blue lettering. However, doesn't mean they can't change what is in there this year. And, in NH, different TSC's will have different products in those bags - you just have to check the UPC code to know. Tully's area might be Currins.
Marketing is a just a little different here. The bricks are on sale too in the fine print but no mention of a price or what the current discount is.
The local HD has two skids out front. They have more out back behind the garden department where they don't really want the public going. Especially those of us who grab skids they don't want us to grab. Fairly sure they were $299 last year. Usually the ones out front have had the outer plastic torn open to see what brand they have inside but the cover was still intact when I was there. Lowes in town has Currans but I couldn't figure out the price. It looked like the discount price (50 bags) was $5.79 (5% discount)
Now that I have room in the garage, I pre-bought 2 tons yesterday. I have 3 tons in the house right now so that will come close to getting me thru the winter. Expecting to be able to procure some CL finds to round it out.
I grabbed 2 tons yesterday as well. My TSC has Eastern Shore Forest Products pellets in the White TSC bags. UPC showed they are from Maryland.
