TSC in Massachusetts Anyone know if it’s MWP or Currans this year?

Has anyone in eastern Mass or southern NH bought from TSC this Fall? Are they MWP?

 

I picked up a pallet of MWP at the TSC store in Millbury, MA earlier in the year. This was at the end of July. They always seems to get a steady supply of MWPs. I will say that they had many pallets of other kinds of pellets too, all in TSC bags, but with varying UPC codes on them. I had to cherry pick the pallet I wanted. It was funny because the forklift driver initially grabbed a pallet of some other product, and so I had to ask him to put it back and get me a pallet of MWPs. He went on a bender about how "all the pellets come on the same truck and they all come from Maine and they are all the same kind". I just shook my head and chuckled. In the end, he grudgingly put the first pallet back and gave me one I requested with the MWP UPC numbers.

 

Yeah...that’s a game I don’t want to play....

 

I think it pretty much depends on the store itself. Mine (Hillsboro, NH) gets MWPs, but others in southern NH get GS. Then someone else said the Rochester, NH on has GS - Appalachians. Some of the websites show they have both hardwood and softwood, whereas mine only carries one.

I just tried that code online and it worked. Seems too good to be true. Tempting at that price.

I did a reconnaissance mission at my local TSC today. They have at least 50 tons of MWP on hand. I checked the SKU’s frequently in the stockpile. Going to pull the trigger tomorrow at $195 ton. Absolutely unheard of around here for more than a decade. Let’s go Bogieb!!!

 

Even though the coupon actually states it isn't good for pellets, the online store let me use it on a ton this morning .

However, last time I ordered something online, they told me I was all set, then I never got a confirmation to come to the store to pick up. Finally went to the link in the "all set" email, and they had declined it. I figured that they just didn't have the item at the local store (although it showed in stock), so I bought from Aubuchon's. Later that day I happened to go to TSC, and they had 4 or 5, so I don't know what the heck happened. I guess if they cancel it on me, I haven't lost anything and won't go cold.

I actually got the tip for the code from someone on the other forum but I know alot of people from here don't go over there so I thought I would pass it on to the FHC friends.

 

Well that couldn’t have been any easier. Ordered online. Got confirmation. Drove to store and parked in contactless pickup spot. Told them I was there via their app and in 5 minutes I was loaded and gone. $194.62. Can’t beat that. For those of you considering this, it’s a November only coupon. I might get greedy and go back for another ton next week
