We moved a trail cam to my deer carcass more than a week after I shot it. Last year we put a cam on my dad's deer carcass on day one and got cougar pictures. Something had already found my buck when we set the camera up. The leg bones had been scattered and the rib cage was partially buried. This guy showed up an hour after we put the cam there and spent the better part of three days there.
I'm not really sure. It probably depends on the weather and snowfall. It's been pretty mild so far this year.
My buddy has a cabin way up north in Wisconsin’s Douglas County. In the last week he had two visitors. First visitor stole half his firewood. Then on Nov 23rd this guy visited. Second visitor didn’t steal anything.
