Anyone know anything about tractor supply pellets? Do they burn ok..who makes them? My local store has them for $4 a bag. I bought some Pennington brand from Walmart last year and that was a mistake...they we're all ash
A variety of mills provide pellets to tractor supply. Some are good, others not so good. If the ones you are considering come in the tractor supply bag (white bag with blue writing) you will need the UPC number from the bag to determine which mill supplied them. Most times, the pellets at the TSC store in your area will come from a “local” mill. Not always the case though, so post the details - we’re glad to help. $4/bag is a good price.
Little birdie told me that some stores of Tractor Supply in New England this fall will have Douglas Fir (the real good stuff) ...just sayin...
Probably will sell for minimum of 375.00. Have to offset the shipping cost If they are real deal from Oregon.
Called tractor supply corporation and was told pellets were made by Alatantic forest products massena ny. Anyone ever used pellets from these guys? I've never heard of them.
It looks like that name covers a variety of different kinds of pellets, suspect based on regional availability. Have a look at the wood pellet fuels section of this page. Energy Products - Atlantic Forest Products
Atlantic Forest Products is a wholesale forest products distribution company ...they sell other manufactures products......and if the product was actually made in Messena NY then they are a Curran pellet...!!
