All of a sudden there is too much wood! I still have 2 cords to get from one friend that is stacked in logs with a tractor sitting next to the pile to load with and another buddy just cut half a dozen locust. The locusts are down a bit of a hill but there will be a dozer available to pull them out. I still have at least 10 cords down at my house to split but I just can't say no to free locust
"too much wood", it seems gramatically correct but I have trouble understanding the combination of these words
My poor garden is pretty stocked up with wood, and I have a small city garden. However, I can not refuse any good new wood, and I am afraid that there are many like that on this forum. But 10 cord is pretty impressive, that would really not fit on my small patch Maybe you can help out somebody in need?
Now everyone calm down! I'm not leaving the locust! I'm going to give some to my neighbor with a messed up knee and keep the rest. I'll just have 20 cords to split instead of 10. Once all split I'll have around 30 stacked.
ahh ok, he's starting to come around! You just find a ridiculous way of justifying taking more wood, that's all!!
Congratulations haveissues. That is impressive to say the least. That locust will be super. This really made me wonder how much I'd have to have on hand to be considered too much wood. Or maybe wonder about Scotty?! He has more than I do. But, I also have many acres of land to stack wood on and so long as it is covered, it won't rot. Bring it on!
I certainly don't have acres to dedicate to firewood but I have 3/4 of an acre out back that I can use for pretty much all wood. I stack in 5 cord cubes so 5 cords in the wood shed plus another 25 out back should be fine.
Wow that's a lot of firewood! I wish I had that issue but I have had zero luck in the last year or two getting anyone to let me cut up down trees. I may resort to buying another log load at this rate.
