of the 14 times I handle firewood : http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/the-14-times-i-handle-fire-wood-tree-to-ashes.929/ Was a slight drizzly rain, golf got canceled. Many hear are having fun stacking wood, so a little rain shouldn't be so bad. 1st load went OK, had a low tire on the trailer, unloaded & filled the tire. 2nd load the sky opened up, Had rain pants & rain shirt , but even this dumb ole hillbilly know when to call the dogs. At least I got a start on the 17/18 in the shed. & the wood in the shed is out of the rain
I'm sure if I was backing up that rig, I'd hit the post and the whole thing would come down on my head.
Lookin' at those loooong stacks and your well made woodshed packed with birch never gets old. You have a sweet setup there, Dave. Quite sure that we all appreciate the steps taken to get it there too.... Good job. EDIT:: Wait a minute....... no mountains?
I never really counted the handling steps in my process. 14 seems like a lot, then again with every time I look at a split I tend to touch it and talk to it...and smell it.
I agree. Setup looks great. I especially like the moose antlers and the trailer for the quad. What kind is it?
Got to "not be fun" fast when it came down hard. Today 57° , cloudy but not raining (yet) May give it a go for a few more loads.
Would have been a nice day here for bike riding and I was thinking hard about it. However, by the time I got some other things done, the ride has to wait. Danged body...
