Ours like to lay out on the tile floor in front of the stove. Tiles get nice and warm when there's a fire goin'.
Cool pic! My husky will tolerate the stove/rec room because thats where her people spend lots of time but she wont go near the stove itself. Goes without saying I guess since she sleeps outside and has a double coat. I worry sometimes that she spends to much time in the house as I know it affects her winter coat but shes a family dog as apposed to a working dog.
To get my dogs out of the way of the wood stove you got to give them a snack other wise they aren't moving
HA! Scarface looks like my dog Rosco. I can barely get the fire started before he's there staring at me as to say,"Hey you want to put some pep in your step buddy, that fire ain't gonna light itself." He then proceeds to assume the horizontal position until bedtime. Sometimes you have to wonder, who's master in the relationship.
Rosco just ate (or should I say was fed) and is now being productive. Again I beg the question, who's master?
