Tully, are you going to save a bag in the stash, as a 'collector's item' ?

It's like drinking the last beer you will ever have from a brewery that has closed and you will never taste that sweet nectar again.:(

You can probably find those pellets under a different name.

I cant keep track of all the stuff that was or is in the bags. Someone else may chime in with more info. But its probably a good bet you could buy those again in a different bag.

Well since you brought it up ....you probably can't...at least not the pellet that is in that bag...I can tell from the different colors of the pellet in those bags, that the mill they came from is no longer operating and probably won't be in the future. Since I am down to my last couple of hundred tons of those particular Okies...you are right..it is an end to those ones.....but the brand is being sold by another company....and I'm not positive whose pellets they are using....but the brand is still alive

Shame on you!!! You need not judge a pellet by the color of its wood but by the content of its burn!!

I wasn't judging it (I already know how good they are) just identifying it...big difference...!!!

You did judge them. You looked at their color and made a judgement of where they came from.

What I read said they will be adding 40000 tons of torrified pellets to the 60000 tons of "white pellet" production if I read the article correctly.

It sounded like their market agreements are w/ industrial clients, vs. consumer sales. .. It would take about 10 of those big-azz torrified pellets from the article JT linked , to fill the Hopper here. Bet they burn for awhile.

I still have some in the garage - a bit over a ton. I found no need to move them into the house to be used yet. Depending on how severe the rest of this winter is, I may still have them next burn season. The Inferno Gold's are keeping the main floor stove very happy and the P61a can eat the Maine's Choice until they are gone.
