Lake Superior is really sounding better and better all the time. I too hate this weather we are having. And just think, a little over 2 months ago I was really wishing it would warm up...
Yesterday I was wearing a light jacket. You mid-westerners seem to have blistering summers and the coldest winters. You can keep the heat in your neck of the woods I have splitting to do.
I can’t stand the heat! We bought something similar to this AlphaCool Cooling Neck Gaiter - The Warming Store Ours do a great job keeping us cool.
In a nutshell...THAT $@#%$! I HATE the heat. Been seasonably warm and humid around here. Unsettled week with showers and T-storms. Yesterday dewpoint hit 70 and i was drenched working outside. Luckily it was cloudy. If the sun came out i wouldve really suffered. I dont fare too well in it. Anyone wear these for outside work? They work great. $10 through Walmart website.
88* at 1:30 pm. Dry and dusty out rototilling. Brad, Mrs FS told me no more t-shirts cause my drawer is full. Going to Wal-Mart tomorrow and I might try a slip one in the cart.
Unrelenting 90 deg days here too. The BIG question: will all these 90+ deg days dry my firewood faster or will the 70+ deg dew point counter the heat? It would be nice to look at the thermometer with a "on the bright side" thought of SUPER dry firewood. My first thought on the FHC site shutdown: FHC was hacked by North Korea and we are on the world stage.
Not Fair. We had reservations for a July camping trip to Vermont but the "two week quarantine" put an end to that trip. Last time I looked, a lot of the campgrounds near Lake Superior are 100% reserved for the summer since everyone's camping plans were delayed by the virus.
That breeze is key! Similar temp here, but no breeze and 76% humidity. It’s been a warm day here in SoVT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
