I didn't buy it, I just saw it there. Don't know if I'd pay $1500 for a grill she I could make a firepit and use a camp grill. Over it. Still, it was impressive.
very cool......actually probably pretty dam hot! I'm with you Al.....I like the simplicity of my keyhole firepit. The stainless steel grill I made for it out of 3/16" stainless rod makes it great. you don't ever have to worry about the grill rusting out! A couple of mouth-watering pics for your pleasure....top one is some apple smoked wings and burgerz.....the lower one is some skewered shrimp over oak and applewood.....
I am definitely swing by a day early for the g2g before we're off. I hope u will be well stocked with food and drink. Looking goodbro!
yeah, make sure you come a day early......we'll eat and drink like kings the night before that trip!!
I'll pass on the "smoking" part, but I'll make up for it on the "drinking" part... maybe we can get a couple other guys coming through this way to come a day early....have a "pre-GTG jamboree" here at the Overkill homestead!
The keyhole pit is genius in its simplicity. I like the stainless grill. That's always the sore point on a lot of outdoor grills. I like cast iron grates, but you have to keep after them. Those shrimp look really good, Scott. Bet they tasted great. You got me thinking about making those this week.
Maybe you can come east for the day?? Don't worry, we'll have plenty to eat and drink at your place.....
