The effects of Eucalyptus borer

    This is the damage just under the bark from these little monsters. They also bore directly into the tree and tunnel around. No real external outside damage or even that they are in there until you cut into the tree.

    Reminds me of what EAB does to the ash trees around here although they dont bore into the wood. Larva eat the cambium layer only. Other buggers like other woods and leave little dust piles as they bore.
