Does anyone love breakfast as much as I do? Here is a thread to post about the most important meal of the day. Let's see em!

Here is a great breakfast from this past summer to start.

Looks like a real good start to the day.
If I end up at a restaurant that serves breakfast all day, invariably thats what I end up eating.

Few things top baking powder biscuits, hash browns, eggz, and sausage gravy.

Though not my favorite breakfast, a big bowl of oatmeal (topped/sweetened with some real maple syrup) and some toast. It'll stick to your bones and you're good to work/play till supper.

Looks good , do you just shred the potatoes and put them in and then layer everything else on top of the potatoes?
I love a quiche made in the cast iron pan but this looks like it would be an excellent candidate for that.

We use frozen ones, thaw then patted dry. Spread on the bottom throw some butter on top and bake to get a “crust” pull out and add filling then back in the oven.

I can get more specific numbers from the head chef if you want. We also throw in whatever else is in the fridge that looks good.

Hear ya on whatevers in the fridge....I'd imagine cream cheese lumps, cottage cheese, crabmeat, tuna, sage sausage.

Will have to try that. And will try that on the wood stove in cold weather . Maybe.

For my new outdoor kitchen I put in a Broil King propane unit. Their promo video mentioned an accessory griddle for the side burner, and another that replaces a couple of the grates. I ordered the side burner unit for the purpose of making breakfast.

we were gifted a pretty good Charbroil for the tree farm. Ordered a similar griddle for it. Should be fun.

A lot of folks are doing the blackstone deals. Now there is an option.

Thanks. My wife makes that. It is basically cole slaw. Cabbage, mixed vegetables, shredded carrots and then it has a cider vinegar and/or avocado mayonayse dressing. It seems to change slightly each week so I think she improvises on the recipe.
