Big wind event here in Dakotah Territory. Last night it picked up here. Gusts pushing 60 mph here in Carrington. West of me there were gusts recorded at 92 mph in Bently ND and a gas station had its pumps ripped out by the wind in New England ND. They might say we don't have hurricanes here but I bet these winds are close. Good thing it is a brown winter or things would be nasty bad white out if we had snow like we usually would have.
And now over by Lemmon SD there is a grass fire going that has 2 highways shut down. People are being told prepare to evacuate.
They predicted we’d have 30 mph here by midnight at 9 pm. We got to 70. Seattle area. Now everyone’s got firewood!
