Little scrounge on the way home
Could’ve gotten more but there’s an AC unit under the pile.
    I’ll check again tomorrow

Got some more today. Today I brought a saw. Cut this 24” DBH maple until I noticed the clutch cover sloppy. More below. But got a partial before I went to get another saw.

Tap it back through from the oil tank. There’s nothing fancy inside there, just a big square head that fits into a recessed area

Ive done the same. Forget to tighten them when switching bars or swapping chains and have the bar loosen when starting the cut! Were only human Mike!

Nice loads of wood BTW! Is that the last of it?

There was less there today when I left it yesterday

Tonight I rang the bell to ask if they minded me running a saw. Young woman with a baby on her hip came out and said sure. And then she said we have more out back.
So the three of us took a short hike.
There’s a some big juniper and some nice ash, a little, and three or four rounds worth of the 24” maple still out front.
If it’s there Friday, I’ll grab some more.

Hardest part was draining the oil out first.

Most huskies are like that. It’s a snug fit.
