Switched stoves ran into issues

    I went from a profile 20 to an englander 25PDVC and my foil tape is melting and I’ve never had a problem until now. It’s the same pipe and tape I’ve previously used for years now. Is it burning hotter than the previous stove? Tips? I attached pics of the stove and pipe thank you all in advance. IMG_0953.jpg

    Make sure you fully remove the old stuff first. Don’t just go over the top. Gonna take some time with a razor blade and maybe some acetone for the adhesive..

    I have it but I don’t trust it 100% because I’m a fire fighter and i’m paranoid about carbon monoxide.

    Did you do the exhaust pipe install yourself?
