That is a very nice firewood stack!!! A very warm and beautiful picture!!! How many heating seasons will that volume of firewood last? Jim
Yea Me too! Getting the cold temps but not much snow yet. Had some snow, it melted, then got cold & no much snow, dusting now & then , Wind pick up & it gets blown away. To be in the low to mid 30° for our highs for next few day. Maybe we'll get some snow More " The Norm" : This is what we need/want/should have for this time of the year, old pics :
Well hopefully you can post some pics of your stacks with snow on them and a pic of a big bowl of Moose stew very soon !
+1 I'd like to know that too??? That's quite a long shadow but I think it's already starting to shrink. Soon my wood burning days will be over for the winter and I'll be catching a flight to where my high noon shadow will be concentrated into an area around my sandals.
Almost 9 cord stacked real loose. Hope to net 7-1/2 when it goes in the shed. Will be some uglies to reject in there too. 2 rows 90' x 4-1/2' high
Amazing there is no snow yet Dave. But, some years just seem to go that way. We've had them, many times with very little snow all winter long. This might be another one.
Really rare to not have a White Christmas We've just been in the snow shadow with the storms We're getting Winter temps, just not much snow Although, the Iditarod trail area is getting more snow than last year. A good thing.
We have a bit more daylight than up in AK, and I'm glad that we are now gaining daylight. In only a month or so it should be light when I get home !!! Ok, maybe its 2 or 3 months... But it's getting closer !!!
