    At least the clothes make a person visible - the orange ones anyway. This fad of wearing all black especially at night is not safe. campinspecter and I get a lot of ribbing for wearing high vis jackets all the time but lots of places we walk, there is no sidewalks.

    Funny story. Years ago, I got reflective tape and put it on campinspecter's raingear and jackets for work. He got a lot of ribbing for it but he could be seen in the dark mornings and evenings. Now, it is almost standard work wear among the work force he was in.
