    Especially an AS.
I decided to empty the refrigerator today. Stuff pepper left overs from Thursday. Toco meat from yesterday.
Throw all into a #10 Dutch oven with feet and made sort of chili. Put it on the AS about 1:30. Now 4:15 and it is warm but not really cooking. Stove temp has been between 300*and 250*.
On my past stoves if I didn't use a footed Dutch oven, the soup would quickly boil and start to burn if not stirred very frequently. First attempt at cooking on the AS.
Do you use a Dutch oven with feet or without feet to cook on your stove?
Just filled the stove up before I really needed to. Look for the soup to get going shortly.

We cook all the time on the stove. It's an insert, so we only have room for loaf pans, but I love to cook on the stove. We make mirepoix often, chicken chili, scratch soups and stews.. It's slower, but I'm just hanging out by the stove anyway, and it tastes so much better...
