My friend Tim has an 880 on an Alaskan mill. It will only rev out with the filter cover off. Does the cover cause that much air restriction or is there another problem? As soon as the cover is tightened down the saw bogs down. Carb adjustment doesn’t make a difference.
First let me saw that looks bad azz the obvious question is the air filter clean Second thought I would check the manifold boot over and see if there is a crack in the boot
