Totes are full, 12 of them stacked full is a touch over 3.5 cord. Used up some metal roofing and put my safety wire pliers to good use.

    Very nice, nicely organized.

Kinda wonder what you do for a living.. don't often find anyone that call them safety wire pliers.. virtually never since I was in the USAF

Lockwire I've heard in the civilian world.

They're very handy to have around, but a bit pricey. I had a pair several years ago, but they've since gone AWOL.

That's what they were always referred to as at the bike shop.

I'm a carpenter but had a long streak of motorcycle things.... worked at a cycle shop in high school too.... we called them safety wirr pliers, ive also heard tie wire tool...

This one is a harbor freight deluxe, not fancy but gets it done.

    Fantastic job Aaron. :thumbs::salute::handshake:

Does the predominant wind come from the picket fence side of the tote wall?

Yup prevailing winds are the fence side, majority of sun from the other side....

I might have rotated them 90° to direct air over the end grain of the splits...

    But that’s just me.....:salute:

Yeah, safety wire pliers is what is motorcycle junkies call them. I've never heard of them being called anything else.

    Nice work bobdog2o02 !

Very nice. I don't see how anyone could find fault with your wood stacks.

Very nice ! Clean and organized and not an eye-sore for you and the neighbors.
After this I really think it is time for me to think a little harder about this. I could easily move the totes when full up by the house with the tractor as needed.
I pass a factory on my way to and from work on a daily basis and there are easily 20-30 just sitting there in the lot. I think this warrants a stop on my way home tonight.

Good luck on freebies! I buy in quantity for $25 from a guy that does lake/pond treatment. Used once and rinsed clean. BTW, I have 1 face cord stacked. Everything else in totes. I love it!

Just looked on my local CL and there are 3 there for 25 each. I would do them for that price.
