I am fortunate to be able to go home for lunch everyday which gives me about 35-40 minutes to get a little work done on the woodpile if its nice out. Not much but not bad for a short amount time. I actually get a lot done this way.
Jealous of your dry ground at this time of year! This year is a mess for mud around here. Drainage burrowing through the back yard didn't help. Nice set up there to be able to spend lunch blowing off some steam in the wood pile! Just don't cap it off with a beer if you're going back to the "office."
Great day to make firewood even during lunch JeffC . Ill do some before or after work too. Sometimes its more enjoyable to do it by "littles" rather than several hours then it becomes "work". Sometimes when im back logged (no pun intended) ill get stressed and try to do too much at once. I like to process rounds ASAP as i dont know how soon another score is coming and dont like them to sit for too long. The past six months it has almost been non stop!
That's great to be able to do some while on break. That's the way I do it too. However, I'm on perpetual break time!
That is true, when you are retired, the days of the week are: Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday and Sunday!
