Remodeling erected at the house, deer season in full swing, cub scouts and work. But managed to really get some more work done on my splitter. Had a old cylinder that was given to me and probally going to wind up just installing a new cylinder altogether. Rod is pretty pitted up and got some leaking going on.

Looks good man, looks like it has a real long stroke, how long are your splits, logs, whatever?

That cylinder does have a long stroke 36in, but I'm not going to wind up using this cylinder on count of it not being the greatest one. Needs some repairs, the cylinder I'm going to be using will have a shorter stroke so that's going to change.

Yes sir I do. I actually have a decent pile of white oak and a ton of hickory that has been down for a while now. And about five oaks that need to be felled. Three of which are leaning pretty bad. Ought to harvest a large amount off of those. If I ever can get around to finding the time. The misses keeps me on my feet!

Mine too! I like to keep a good bit for smoking as well. Had two nice size trees drop and got them drying out . Probably going to start on those and my oaks as soon as I get my splitter going.
