Guess I dont need to say much else lol. Got rented splitter for weekend. Trying to knock down the pile so I have room to bring in more. Fun thing was 10 yr old granddaughter was right there with me most of the time running splitter controls having the time of her life. Got about 3 cords split and stacked. Gonna get back at it tomorrow. Will get pics when I rest up. Good times.

10 hrs is a long day for sure! Your definitely getting your moneys worth on the splitter AND not getting a gym membership! We as adults love it....... but your granddaughter will remember the "good times" with you forever!

Take some preventative ibuprofen now. Otherwise you might have a hard time getting out of bed tomorrow.

    Great job so far!

Wow - that's a good day of work - you'll be happy to return that splitter and enjoy the fruits of your labor! Nice work! Cheers!

Good deal. Sometimes after busting ash all day, I forget and the wife needs to remind me to take ibuprofen.

Nothing like quality wood splitting time with your granddaughter. PRICELESS

10 years old almost the perfect age to run the splitter controls.

Update: weekend of splitting 5 plus cords. My stock pile of rounds is gone. I now have room to bring in more. Tally of what we slit, lots of oak, lot of hickory ( man that stuff kicked my butt) prob a full cord of maple in large rounds ( 36 in plus ) misc red elm ( thanks for the id help ) and some stuff that I am not sure of. Oh yeah and some ash. When I can raise my arms up high enough ( no joke ) will take pics of stacks. G'night all.
