Great pics solidwoods , and thanks for sharing. In the first pic the wormy maple, is that an outline for guitar parts? Can you tell us if you are the woodworker on the different species in the pics. And if so, what kinds of projects do you do? Do you mill all your own stuff?
Yes it is an outline for a steel guitar. I make the wood part and the customer does the rest. He builds and gives lessons. All the lumber and projects are my work. I've woodworked sine 82 (even while I was in the Army). I mill almost all the materials for my business. Exceptions are large qty's that I may not have enough in stock for a large flooring job (I use a Weinig 4 side moulder). I make flooring to furniture for indoor and outdoor use, about the only works I don't do is kitchen cabinets. I also kiln dry my own lumber.
