Did some of my vinegar chicken on the pit last Thursday, probably some of the best chicken ever. Cooked over hickory and applewood slivers, the taste just can't be beat, IMO. I experimented a little bit and mixed up some Sweet Baby Ray's with some Franks Red Hot and came up with a quick and easy and fabulous hot BBQ to smear on the chicken if desired.

The dressing is a simple mix of apple cider vinegar and olive oil. I sprinkle some garlic powder on the first flip and spray vinegar on heavy every flip until the chicken is done. You have to continually shaken the bottle of spray to keep the olive oil emulsified.

BBQ sauce is a 3 parts Sweet Baby Ray's honey sauce to 1 1/2 parts Franks Red Hot. Mix it up good and smear it on the chicken afterwards. Or you can just eat the vinegar chicken wit hi put the sauce. It's fantastic with the hickory and applewood flavor!!
