I can’t finish the attic till I get all this mess of wiring in the bathroom finished so to that end..

    Here we go again!

The dumpster showed up around 1700 so we didn’t get much tear out done today.

Removed washer, dryer, sink, vanity, closet, and one wall.

Seriously who NAILS! With roofing nails drywall up then glued panel over it! At least it’s not mudded that’s helping a lot with removal....

Actually, nailing was normal back in some other day. Ever hear the term "nail pops"?

Actually, I still run across guys in the trade that swear paired drywall nails hold better than drywall screws.
I hardly use nails for anything -- even framing. I want to hear in my grave someone cussing hard when they demo my work.

Looks like a combination of roofing nails, galvanized timber tie nails, and sinkers with a sprinkling of general purpose screws all different lengths from 1” to 3”:hair::picard: I’ve got my work cut out removing the majority from the wall studs... :hair:
