Glad you got it out. It’s always more fun to light the newspaper on fire!

I'm sure. It never ceases to amaze me how many stories you hear every year of someone cutting off.fingers or hands in snow blowers. Come on people, have you not heard this story 10,000 times already?

I don't know how anyone could put their hand in a turning snow blower anyway, it won't turn unless you where to strap down the engage lever

The problem is that once they dislodge whatever bound it, the tension release causes the auger to move slightly, right where their hand is

well my blower attaches to 3 point hitch through a PTO shaft... apparently 80 plus mpH winds blew shaft off handle of blower and froze it into ground and mud froze solid... so while snowing had to go get parts to rebuild shaft .. as the bearing wouldn't move.. so what do you do... torch heat them... but spring comes through collar.... so $175 in parts but they had them in stock so drive is open!

That's why snowblowers have the pry bar thing attached to the front! Even if the snowblower is turned off, do not put your hand in the auger!
