At first glance the pellets are very inconsistent in length. Pellets range from bits and pieces up to 1.5”. These are a hardwood blend and are light in color. The posted picture makes them look darker than what they actually are. The ash is very fine and light grey in color and my stove’s glass stayed clean. They might be just a tad on the ashier side compared to other pellets but because the ash is so fine it doesn't seem to buildup too much.

All in all these things burn hot and clean and I would not have a problem buying these and using them as my main pellet.

    Recommend!
